Grandcarers SA is a South Australian not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting over 1000 grandparents and other kin who step in to raise children under an informal arrangement when parents are unable to do so. These “Grandcarers” often take on full-time parenting unexpectedly, frequently with limited financial resources, minimal legal recognition, and little preparation for the complex challenges they face.
