A year moves quickly when you are inside it. Another December, and here we are again.
So before the month takes us whole — the lists, the wrapping, the everybody-at-once of it — we are going to stop. Sit down by the water. Take a proper look at the year we have had together.
Join us at the Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel to close the year: the harbour on one side, and the women you have walked this year with on the other.
Because that is the part worth marking. Not the events, though there were good ones. The women. The one who saved you a seat at a lunch you nearly talked yourself out of.
