About the event
Did you know that women's ambition increases after the age of 55, before peaking at the age of 65?
While many of us fear ageing as a time in our lives when we will become invisible, it can actually be a vibrant and empowering moment to finally learn to embrace who we are and push ahead with our goals.
In fact, The Harvard Business Review recently found that, contrary to popular belief, many women reach their peak in the second stage of their careers.
Happily, accepting the process of ageing in this way can have huge psychological benefits for both our work and personal lives, too.
The concept of positive ageing encourages us to celebrate each moment of life that we get to live and, if the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that getting older truly is a privilege. (Source: Allbright)

SPEAKERS:
MC: Faith Agugu founder of Silver Sirens
Faith is a Sydney-based Psychotherapist who founded Silver Sirens in 2018 after a number of women in 'midlife crisis' were referred to her. She realised that her cultural lens on ageing differed greatly from those of many of her western sisters and she felt called to change the negative narrative some of these women had internalised about ageing.
Faith creates engaging and uplifting conversations that honour each women's individuality.

Tristan Fahey
Owner/Founder Rubifresh Skincare and Rubifresh Wellness,
Bachelor Applied Science Food/Nutrition,
Trained Fitness Leader, Corporate Consultant,
Coach/Mentor, Health & Fitness nut,
Blogger, Businesswoman,
Mum and passionate advocate for skin health & wellness as a pathway to real beauty…
Tristan was in her early 40s and mother to two toddlers under 2 when she felt she was at a crossroad — torn between society’s expectations of flawless ‘beauty', and the life philosophy she so believed in — health, fitness, and wholeness.
With curiosity, passion and determination, she set about discovering the secret to ageing naturally, gracefully and full of confidence, and finding her ‘happy’ in her own skin.
Driven by a life purpose to facilitate wholeness and confidence in women, two years later Rubifresh was born. The ripples of this vision continue to impact the Rubifresh community and all who come into its path.
With a background in the science of food, nutrition and skincare, fitness leading and mentoring/coaching, Tristan brings her 30+ years’ experience to the world of health, wellness and natural beauty.
She is a fitness nut, a mother, and a passionate advocate for health, wellness, and the power of the human spirit to change the world for good. She speaks and writes on topics such as real beauty, nutrition, skin health, and exercise, and actively promotes toxin-free living, ageing gracefully and ‘anti-fake’.
Chiza Westcarr
Chiza Westcarr is a university-qualified nutritionist and skin specialist. She began teaching in 2000, and imparts current, nutrition, and skin-relevant information to Medical Practitioners, Nurses and Skin Therapists alike.
Chiza has developed a reputation as an extremely engaging, knowledgeable speaker with a real passion for all things skin and nutrition, recognising the real connection between gut health and skin health and she is often invited to write for magazines as well as speak nationally and overseas on various skin health-related topics.
In recent times, Chiza’s focus has turned to clinical consultation with a particular focus on gut health and a strong belief that the health of the gut should be the starting point to restore health and wellness.
Chiza’s primary role is to assist in finding the best solutions for concerned patients suffering from a number of growing health-related conditions which include (but are not restricted to) abdominal bloating and discomfort, lethargy, insomnia, skin-related conditions, stress-related disorders, anxiety, and low vitality.
With a strong background in skin conditioning, Chiza consistently finds that she is able to link internal factors to the state of her patients’ skin. The skin is a barometer of one’s health, and so she truly believes that a vast majority of the skin concerns we suffer from are directly linked to diet.
Chiza also founded and runs nutrition and skin-related online ‘live’ courses through the Nutritional Skincare Academy for the medical fraternity, nurses and skin therapists alike.
