About the event

Research has found that confidence in your own financial situation is linked directly to the number of obligations you have at a certain point in life.

The maximum number of obligations typically occurs in mid-life. This is the period when things like home loans, weddings, children, education, aging parents, and healthcare compete for your time and money.

Taking those expenses into consideration, it’s no wonder why women ages 45-54 feel stretched and are among the least confident about their finances. Divorce or separation can add to the stress of women who may have delegated finances to their partners.

There is ample evidence that financial stress contributes in a large part to mid-life crises.

What's included in your ticket:

SPEAKERS:

MC: Faith Agugu founder of Silver Sirens

Faith is a Sydney-based Psychotherapist who founded Silver Sirens in 2018 after a number of women in a 'midlife crisis' were referred to her. She realised that her cultural lens on ageing differed greatly from those of many of her western sisters and she felt called to change the negative narrative some of these women had internalised about ageing.

Faith creates engaging and uplifting conversations that honour each women's individuality.
