About the event

Yoga, one of the world’s oldest health systems is receiving new attention for claims that it can contribute to healthy ageing.

Multiple studies provide data showing that yoga practice has positive effects on cellular ageing, mobility, balance, mental health, and prevention of cognitive decline—all areas of concern for ageing adults.

Sleep – it can be one of the most challenging aspects of menopause and post-menopause. Discover practices to help you fall asleep, stay asleep, and encourage deep, restful sleep.

In this 60-minute online yoga class, Katie Brown will guide you through soothing breathing practices to encourage sleep and deep rest, yoga postures to help you unwind, acupressure points to calm the mind, and a nourishing Guided Relaxation.

This will be a nurturing class for all levels and ages.

You will need a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, and eye pillow. Plus a good internet connection.
