Melbourne Silver Sirens: Ageing Well Workshops is an intimate, uplifting day created for women over 50 who are committed to ageing on their own terms — with vitality, intention and choice.

This is not a lecture-style event. It’s a warm, beautifully curated gathering where you’ll learn practical tools you can use immediately, enjoy nourishing food, and connect with like-minded women who are embracing elderhood with clarity, confidence and heart. Expect real talk, grounded expertise, and a community that feels both inspiring and deeply human.

About the Event

Agenda Highlights

10:00 AM – Welcome & Community Connection

A warm Silver Sirens welcome and a gentle landing into the day. Meet women who are choosing to age well — not by shrinking, but by expanding into the next chapter with purpose and self-respect.

10:15 AM – Workshop: Nutrition for Vitality (45 mins)

Health and nutrition expert Lynda Roach shares practical, delicious ways to nourish your body for long-term energy, strength and wellbeing. You’ll leave with simple ideas you can actually apply (without perfectionism).

11:00 AM – Workshop: Evolving Relationships (45 mins)

Kellie Roach.jpg

Kellie Stirling explores how relationships can transform beautifully in our wisdom years — with deeper connection, clearer boundaries, and more authentic intimacy. A thoughtful session for anyone navigating family dynamics, friendship changes, dating, partnership, or simply the desire to feel more emotionally free.

11:45 AM – Morning Tea

Freshly brewed coffee, herbal teas and healthy pastries — plus time to mingle, share stories and build connections.

12:15 PM – Keynote Speaker: Jules Brooke (She’s The Boss)

Jules Brookes.png

Jules Brookes founded She’s The Boss because she was tired of the lack of visibility for female founders and CEOs — and the shortage of spaces where established women can gather with no agenda other than supporting one another and speaking honestly about business and leadership.

While many women’s business communities focus on start-ups or the juggle of young families, Jules champions women with mature businesses who want to create impact, help others, and drive change. She also lives by her quote:

“Be the kind of woman that will mention another woman’s name in a room full of opportunities.”

1:15 PM – 2:30 PM – Lunch (Silver Sirens style)

A delicious, nourishing lunch with fresh salads, grilled proteins, seasonal vegetables — beautifully plated, relaxed, and designed for connection.

A Message from our Founder

Faith Agugu

Faith Agugu Coogee Beach.jpg

At 61, I’ve come to believe that our missions choose us. Silver Sirens™ grew from that belief—and from what I’ve witnessed and learned through my work as a therapist.

Listening to women over 50 express feelings of invisibility, discomfort with menopause, grief from empty nests, and fear that life had passed them by, I felt a calling to create a space for these women to flourish instead.

The growth of the Silver Sirens™ movement over the past seven years has surpassed my own original dreams and ambitions

Emboldened and inspired by the passionate community response, my vision for the Silver Sirens™ community lives on: to expand our roles as wisdom-holders and to challenge the limited narratives assigned to ageing women. History is calling - it is time to embrace our unique paths, passions, and dreams, while serving as aging models for younger generations.

At its core, Silver Sirens™ is about nurturing connection, celebrating the ageing process, and offering practical tools for women to thrive beyond midlife.

Come join us on this adventure. The journey of a lifetime is calling - and we want you with us.
