"Alternative travel opportunities invite us to explore the world in fresh, innovative ways. They remind us that adventure is not limited to traditional tourism but can be found in the unexpected paths we take and the connections we make along the way."
Deb Petlueng's masterclass, "Travel Effortlessly & Fearlessly after 50," reminded me that travel doesn't have to slow down after 50. In fact, this stage of life can be the perfect time to explore new horizons and engage in alternative travel experiences.
However, a significant factor preventing women in our group from travelling is financial limitations. Many members have expressed that monetary concerns act as a barrier, hindering their ability to explore and experience the world. It was refreshing to discover that there are many ways to travel and have adventures without breaking the bank.
From working holidays to volunteering, there are various ways to satisfy your wanderlust while making meaningful connections and fostering personal growth. Let's explore some exciting travel options for the young-at-heart adventurer.
